Lurgio Read-a-Thon Has Begun!!

The Read-a-Thon was designed as a day long celebration of literacy, as well as a fundraiser, collecting new and gently used books for the Children’s Literacy Foundation of New Hampshire and Vermont. Students are asked to collect donations sponsoring their Read-a-Thon day, with the proceeds going to the Ross A. Lurgio Media Center and the Bedford PTG.

8th Grade ONLY - BHS Course Registration Information

Attention 8th Grade Students and Parents

BHS is beginning the process of building next year’s master schedule. Below are some dates to be aware of while preparing your students for 9th grade:
  • All teacher recommendations completed in PowerSchool - January 21st
  • 8th Grade Parent Teacher Conferences - 23rd & 31st
  • “Course Selection Info Night” - February 1st in BHS Theater at 6:00PM
  • Course request portal open to all - the afternoon of February 2nd through the afternoon of February 9th
We will be providing a great deal of information in the weeks to come. Please continue to read the Lurgio News to keep up-to-date with the registration process for incoming freshmen.

Celebrate Computer Science Week - Try an Hour of Code

Lurgio will be holding and after school Hour of Code event on Wednesday, December 6 from 3:15-4:30 in room A129 - Ms. Brunelle's room to Celebrate Computer Science Week.  We are also excited to have Mitch Marchand, President of Vibe Software and 2013 BHS graduate join us to share DevKit an iOS application that he developed, that is designed to teach programming concepts and logic to aspiring software developers.  Please click here to register.
