It is once again time to begin our State Assessment testing in Mathematics and English Language Arts. Lurgio’s testing window is , with makeup tests being administered during the week of . Additionally, our eighth grade students will complete the State Assessment in Science on .
During the school-wide testing dates of , 9, and 10, all students will be taking the tests during the first two hours of the school day, As always, it is important that students arrive on time for the school day, and we are asking for particular care and consideration in that regard during our testing window. Also, because there are audio-visual components to the tests, we are asking that students bring in earbuds or headphones for testing. Of course, if your child forgets or does not have access to earbuds or headphones, we have some basic headphones available through our technology department. Finally, because the tests are computer-based, we are asking that our students be extra vigilant in charging their Chromebooks each night. Thank you for helping with this.
